INCREASE DESIGN EFFICIENCY

ANALYSIS OPTIONS
SMARTANK® performs calculations in accordance with the latest API 650 Standard. The analysis takes into account wind, seismic, internal, and external pressures for new as well as corroded conditions.
Complete design calculations for shell courses, floors, roof and support structure, anchors, nozzles, manways, and cleanout doors are included.
Calculations are performed in real-time, speeding up the design process by not having to generate the report to check design warnings.
MATERIALS DATABASES
SMARTANK® includes many databases integral to the package, which makes it easy to select standard data for accurate analysis. Several structural steel plates, beams, and piping material databases are provided.
Custom material properties are also supported and can be added to the standard material databases for future use.
ADVANCED REPORTING
SMARTANK® includes an integrated report generation system. Reports can be fully viewed before being exported to formats such as DOCX or PDF, generating a more agile and efficient design environment. It is not necessary to have any other additional software installed to generate the reports.
Reports include equations and substitutions, making it effortless for the user and client to follow the design procedure presented in the calculations. All calculation formulation can be in USC or SI unit system.
Report templates can be imported so that the generated reports contain the format required for each project. The user does not have to compile any additional documents.
SMARTANK® BATCH CALCULATION
SMARTANK® Batch Calculation, a proprietary algorithm to design from scratch a list of tanks with minimum input data. This feature saves hundreds of engineering hours a year and minimizes risk and uncertainty during any project quotation and bidding process. Tank list data imported from a spreadsheet is used to quickly calculate and fully design multiple tanks in a matter of minutes to perform a quick preliminary design.
