The Nozzle Import window allows users to import a list of nozzles directly from a spreadsheet (.xls) file.
The Nozzle Import window is separated into different areas, Import Parameters, Table Profile,and Commands.
Import Parameters Area #
The Import Parameters area includes the following fields:
File Path– Specifies the path of the spreadsheet file (.xls) to import the list of nozzles information.
Table Sheet – Specifies the sheet containing the list of nozzles’ information.
Table Range – Specifies the cell range containing the list of nozzles information.
Length Unit – Specifies the thickness unit for the imported information.
Material, Pipe– Specifies the pipe material used for imported nozzles.
Material, Pipe Fittings – Specifies the pipe fittings material used for imported nozzles.
Material, Flanges– Specifies the pipe flange used for imported nozzles.
Material, Studs– Specifies the studs material used for imported nozzles.
Material, Reinforcing Plate – Specifies the plate material used for imported nozzles.
Table Profile Area #
The Table Profile area includes the following fields:
Nozzle NPS – Specify the nozzle’s nominal pipe size (NPS) column from the imported table.
SCH – Specify the nozzle’s schedule column from the imported table. Acceptable values are schedule values from a table or a dimension with units (mm or in). If a value with dimension is set such as “0.5 in” a custom pipe component is used instead of a standard one.
TAG – Specify the nozzle’s identification TAG column from the imported table.
Quantity – Specify the nozzle’s quantity column from the imported table. Additional nozzles are offset from the first one by a pre-defined angle. Acceptable field values are integers only.
Loc – Specify the nozzle’s location column from the imported table. Acceptable field values are:

Orientation – Specify the nozzle’s orientation column from the imported table. Acceptable field values are numbers only.
Elevation/Radius – Specify the nozzle’s elevation/radius column from the imported table. Acceptable field values are numbers only. Dimension unit is set on the Length Unit field located in the Import Parameters area.
Projection – Specify the nozzle’s projection column from the imported table. Acceptable field values are numbers only. Dimension unit is set on the Length Unit field located in the Import Parameters area.
d1 – Specify the nozzle’s dimension “d1” column from the imported table. Acceptable field values are numbers only. Dimension unit is set on the Length Unit field located in the Import Parameters area.

d3 – Specify the nozzle’s dimension “d3” column from the imported table. Acceptable field values are numbers only. Dimension unit is set on the Length Unit field located in the Import Parameters area. This dimension is saved for future nozzle configurations.
CA – Specify the nozzle’s corrosion allowance column from the imported table. Acceptable field values are numbers only. Dimension unit is set on the Length Unit field located in the Import Parameters area
Flange Standard – Specify the nozzle’s flange standard column from the imported table. Acceptable field values are:
