Components Tree Area #
The Components Tree includes the following root nodes: External Piping, Internal Piping, and Unassigned Components.
External Piping – All components from this node are external to the tank surface.
Internal Piping – All components from this node are internal to the tank surface.
Unassigned Components – All components from this node are unassigned and excluded from the tank model and Bill Of Materials.
Users may drag and drop components to arrange them to change zones or alter the component’s order.
By right-clicking on a node in the Components Tree, the user is given access to operations that can be applied to the selected piping component.
The actions that the user may perform from the pop-up menu are as follows:
Edit – Edit the selected piping component.
Clone – Copy the selected piping component. The selected piping component is cloned and added to the Unassigned Component node.
Delete – Delete the selected piping component.
Component Area #
The Components area includes all piping components that can be added to the Components Tree.
By left-clicking on a component an Edit Component window is opened with a standard component information for the user to make modifications.
By right-clicking on a component a standard component is added to the Components Tree.
